Take a look at this video, excellent. Sums up many of my own feelings why/when I ride my Harley.

The day after the night before
Was on a conference call with colleagues from California overnight, so decided to download map updates for my Garmin Zumo 660 (nice bit of kit), set up the download at about 12:30 am this morning and still with it at 4:30 am ! Man, I'm tired now but on the bright side, I have a bunch of up to date maps to use when I next get out on the road.
Just get to do some work, take the other half and the dog on holiday and then I can ride again.
Just figuring out if I can make the HDRCGB Naseby Field "Roundheads Revenge" rally ? If not, its definately the HDRCGB River Dart, Devon.

Talgarth Pics arriving on Facebook & Youtube
Looking on Facebook and I see that pics and a video from Talgarth are already posted. Some people have their act together better than me but I'll get there...eventually. Still waiting for some of the Burlesque dancers.
Feel quite jaded this morning but straight into work anyway and hope to get through the day without any dramas.
Here are some of my pics of the event.

HDRCGB Talgarth Rally
The 1st Harley Riders Club rally of the season was fantastic and blew away some of the "cobwebs" infesting my head. Just what was needed after a long, dull winter of cabin fever. Many congratulations and thanks to the good people of Region 7 who worked so hard to make the rally as good as it was.
Rode up to Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons, Wales by myself on Friday. Had hoped to be joined by a few others but they all had their own routes, as did I. What a ride! Just brilliant to have the camping gear on the back, the sun shining and the prospect of a party to enjoy. Life does'nt get much better than that.
Got to the camping field and already lots of people pitched up and partying, soon to be followed by myself. About 450 like minded souls made the trip and we were rewarded for our travels.
The ride-out on Saturday saw 50 or so Harleys purring (?) through the Black mountains and causing quite a sight wherever we were. Its amazing how the general public love to see/hear a Harley-Davidson, let alone 50 of them.
The Burlesque dancers on the Saturday certainly proved popular and I would guess they may be "booked" again soon.
The overnight rain on Saturday reminded us we were at the Talgarth rally and this morning saw many of us with hangovers and wet tents to be packed away and homes to ride to but the memories of the weekend will last...until the next rally in 3 weeks.
